Speaking to over 250 people at BHMS,
Jhumpa Lahiri mesmerized everyone with a reading from her newest book of short stories, "Unaccustomed Earth." As she read from one of the stories, "Year's End" I could not help but think of how this must be autobiographical, and yet, during the Q&A session, she let those assembled know that [as it applied to this story] she does not have a brother and that most of her stories are composed from her imagination.
